i had a similar problem with my gpz 750 , 1984. the floats were sticking a good cleaning solved the problem. check the t joint and supply lines for cracks

i gave glen a e mail yesterday forgot the show was on this wekend down town, i was suprised when he replied around midnight, bonus points there he is getting back to me on monday when he is in the shop

anybody know of any deals going on metzler lazertec tires, or have recommendations for tires for a 84 gpz 750 , at the moment i have lazertecs110-90-18 on the front and 130-80-18 rear. the bike is mainly used as a daily driver ,also would like views on other makes of tyre thanks

its a 1985 kawasaki gpz750a3 also known as the zx3

it ended up a as being a couple of problems, cracked intake manifolds, worn float valves, loose airfilter and a bad coil . thanks to everyone for their input. i decided to fix things myself , otherwise i would never learn and be stuck at the side of the road someday.

i thought of that already and did try to look for vacuum leaks using propane . they seem pretty well sealed up i have noticed the fuel comsumption has gone up a bit too thanks

thanks for the reply Brian the bike is a full fairing zx3 gpz 750 it is air cooled and carbureted, with a oil cooler. the bike is in mint condition, you could eat off of it lol. i have been running the bile on premimum gas and service the bike every 2 weeks, it is a daily driver and does equally...

i have a 84 zx 750 , when the motor gets hot (ie sitting in traffic, or after 1 1/2 hours of highway riding i am getting a knocking or rattle . i change the plugs and away we go no problems until the next time. are they the right plug? ngk br9es, or is there another plug that i can use
