You're screwed if you try riding into a spring storm system like that. Wait for it to move east.

When I rode my bike (the Yamaha YZF600 in my av) across the plains states in the spring, I rode through Holly, Colorado just one day after it got smashed by a tornado! I was riding with revrandy when we had to lean against a gas station during a t-storm.

right now he's heading north on the Pacific Coast Highway past Malibu

I hope Wheelieboy found the gas station on the way out of our place. I gave him directions but he turned the wrong way out of our neighborhood! Have a great trip!!! :)
