Ngl this is exactly why I love riding so much. My favourite tasks are the ones where I hyper focus to the point of having no external thoughts besides the task at hand and things relating to it.

Racer5 was recommended to me by another rider friend of mine and I’m definitely gonna be looking into them. Also I’m considered high functioning most people can’t tell but that usually gets me in **** when it comes to my bluntness or how I speak lmao

I think a little of what happened in the other thread was me not wording stuff in the best way I’m kinda tone deaf I am autistic and don’t always process how my sentences sound before I say them though I won’t blame it all on that but I really was taking in everyone’s advice

I hope I’ll be able to pass down experience at that point my main goal is to just try and learn as much as I can so that I can be one of those guys 20-30 years down the road handing out advice

Seems like everyone here has a similar mind set spend more time on the 390 with that being said next season I will be trying to get on track with a training course so I can learn better body positioning, bike feel, what to do in the event of upsets so that I can become an overall better rider...

This is very true though might stick with the 400 for another season I wanna improve my body positioning and get overall better at the basics before I upgrade

Honestly. This incident kept me up at night way more times than it should’ve lmao anyway fun chatting with y’all but I’m suiting up I’m riding up to my cottage for a boys weekend ride safe everyone

Also I do believe I likely over exaggerated the incident when I posted it which was right after it happened still had Adrenaline but the best equivalent I can give is that this was one small step up from stationary dropping your bike I wasn’t going fast at all and there was very little damage...

Unfortunately it was one of those incidents where one second I was up next I was down and it happened right off a stop sign stand still. I do wear a camera now so that if something like that happens again I can rewatch the footage to see if I can notice anything from another perspective
