Yap, my bike is fine in this hot sauna like weather, and it is air and oil cooled engine. However, I'm not in this humidity, so haven't been riding as much to avoid being soaking wet with sweat.

The Buell 1190 with the Rotax engine was on the right track, before the BUELL went belly up. It would be interesting to see what kind of new street bike they can get on the road for sale.

Ya the DVP, can be pretty nuts. Used to take it Mon-Fri for 2 1/2 years to work downtown T.O. A few times almost flew over my handlebars, when cars cut into my lane without seeing me. Glad I'm not working downtown anymore.

Why are you moving to Toronto? I know a lot people from Toronto move to BC. Just got back from vacation in BC, it's wonderful...the weather let's you ride motorcycle almost all year round.

Once the you get the bike insured, I'd say "Ya"...heck I practiced in big empty parking lots when I was learning...never got hassled. However, because you are not insured, you cannot even ride to a parking lot. As for practicing in the condo parking lot? I say no, you might get security on...
