I was out yesterday. I went into home hardware to grab a few things, and when I went in it was bout 4 C. By the time i came out (10 minutes), there were cartoon sized snowflakes coming down. Wasn't as fun riding in that.
Made the trip last weekend from Huntsville to Toronto. I dressed for it and I was fine. Like everyone else is saying, keeping your hands warm will be the only tricky part. Stop for a coffee half way even if its only 30 mins. You will be fine.
Who's planning on making the early season trip to Dover next month?? If the weather is decent it will be my first time going. Any tips on how to get the most of the experience are welcomed!
I bought some turn signals from kapsco @ the end of last season (October), and I didn't get around to installing them until this past weekend. I was outside of the 30 day policy and so I was not given a replacement for my faulty signal. All work fine except one. I still think if you want to...
Took my bike out of storage and rode it back from Huntville (the cottage), to Toronto this weekend. I was dressed for it so it wasn't too bad. Cold hands were the only thing making frequent coffee stops a necessity. Roads were clear, but some nasty winter pot holes to avoid for a hard tail rider...
Anyone planning on Riding this weekend with the forecast sitting @ +3 on Saturday, and +4 on Sunday? I was hoping to bring my bike down from the cottage where I store it during the winter. It's only calling for a high of +1 on Sunday in Huntsville though. Might still brave it!
First bike (current) is a 750 honda shadow ACE. Its a nice light cruiser. I grew up riding dirt bikes so I was comfortable enough on a motorbike, but there is still a learning curve when it comes to cruisers.
