Amazing race!.....was impressive how VR could consistently pass people headed into the chicane. He got by at least 8 people lap after lap. Assen is always fun.

Perhaps it is possible to get that officer to send you an email with their view point, this would make me feel secure enough to go ahead or in the case they say it is not recommended to make alternate ride plans. Either way good luck and I hope the OP finds an appropriate answer.

Same canopy I have and functions great. Bonus if they get broken (wind blows it away) all parts are replaceable and Ontario based. Would recommend to anyone looking and not much more than the cheap CT ones at this price!

Not sure it'll really help but why not call the OPP non-emergency line or your local police detachment? This way you get an answer straight from the source not a bunch of people making assumptions or educating guessing.

UPDATE.......New bolts at a grand total of $4 bucks at Facca Fasteners and a bunch of sweat while I had to do a little extra work to get things buttoned up. No more sliders, risk of a bike flip or broken engine mounts. Next step, some fiberglass repair on the one fairing mounting hole. I'm...

They seem to be running modified a lot this year. It is good for the complex as this means money from the drag events, but it isn't the most inspiring track layout there that's for sure. Hoping I get to run technical and long track before this season is done.

That is a good option, I got things apart yesterday. Found out which bolts I need and if everything goes well I'll grab them after work and have the bike buttoned back up by end of the night.

Thanks man! That was the site I was thinking of but couldn't remember. I am also talking with Sonic Cycle as he went to look to see if he had the bolts in a bike in his yard. I'd assume he does.

My first track bike was a SV650. Was a blast but got a 600 SS for the extra grunt and the suspension mods it had. Haven't looked back, but I think the time on the SV made me a little better.

look at some places in parkhill. Just a short drive away and there are usually something there. Buddy sleeps at a hotel/motel there whenever he comes up to do trackdays.

GBM is running reverse alien tonight and I suspect they may do that next Tuesday as well since that coming weekend is a SOAR event and that is the layout they are racing.
