I managed to reconnect the OEM cluster . Bike started up after I replaced a couple of bad conectors and it is all ok.

What would be a good starting point on setting up the pilot screws (air) on a stock pair of carbs on a 81 Virago 750. Cleaned up very well only to find that when I took them apart they were not the same depth. Bike is running but something is not right and on the rear cylinder I have misfire and...
Replaced leads and caps and now is fine.
What Will be a good setting for the pilot jets on the carbs. Everything is stock.

Plugs are new.
Plug leads are stock.-They look ok but I need to check the one from the cylinder that is not firing (or replace it).
I do get a tingle in my hand when I test it (same cylinder ) away from the body.

Checked the lead wire from the tach -ok.Took carbs out and I`m the middle of cleaning them up, by the way what is the set up on the main jet (2 1/2 turns ). Having no direct knowledge of this model what else could be wrong that would give you no spark on one cylinder? I checked all connections...
Bike is running on one cylinder only (back cylinder) .On the front one I have no spark at all(checked spark plug -ok; coil -ok, switched coils Ok), I have to check that signal wire (orange in the diagram) .
Big boys bike , café racer style in great demand at the moment .This is a one off custom fabrication and believe it that runs like new.
Lots of power , killer paint this bike will get a lot of attention, needs nothing but a rider.

After checking and testing everything I hot wired it today to bypass the main start...
Thank you all. I worked at it all day and the problem is still there. Things that I have done include:
-replaced the starter switch and kill switch: no change
-Tested the starter - ok
-Tested the starter relay - ok
-Tested Battery -ok
-Tested clutch interlock -ok
- Tested Starting relay -ok...
