this is my first winter storing my new bike. I live in a condo and park my bike in the underground (3rd floor) garage, do you think I need to put simple plywood under the tires to prevent them from getting these flat spots? or is it necessary??
Hey does anybody have any thoughts on installing sliders on my new bike? I'm a new rider and just bought my bike. It was mentioned that I should consider having them installed but I had never heard of this before.
Definitely get some extra training from your school. I went to Motorsoul and after I passed my M1 exit I went back for more training. It helped so much. Look into it.
Awesome!! I'm still trying to decide on a bike too, have been leaning towards the cbr too, so it's great to hear your feedback on it. Did you buy used or new? Anything buying tips?
I agree going with the closest school is ridiculous!!! call the schools and talk to them!! this could be the best experience or maybe the worst for you if you don't do your homework. Who cares if it's close by??
you should check out Motorsoul. I took my course there this summer and they are amazing. I saw they have a big sale at the end of October. check it out
I'm just in the process at pricing and looking at bikes now and I think better prices are now as opposed to spring. Especially for those of us looking for starter bikes.
Thanks I'm just finding that out. I'm hoping to pick away at getting gear over the winter. Motorsoul instructors gave me good advice on brands and safety ratings to follow but it's sure adding up already.
I've decided I want to buy a bike. need advice. I think my budget(and being a new rider) is dictating a CBR 125 or 250, or maybe a ninja 300. I went to Motorsoul and they had 3 different kinds of bikes to try and learn on. I loved the Yamaha TW200 but my riding will mostly be on city streets and...
I'm kind of in the same boat as you although I took my course this summer. I couldn't decide if to buy this fall or wait but prices are better now, so now I'm just deciding on which bike is best for me. Even if you don't buy I think you should take the course now!
