Don't know if u solved your issue yet. I was having the same issues. Anyway bought and installed s powercommander 5 from motomummy. Flat spot is gone in 4th gear. Noticeable difference in all gears, I'm really impressed and that's just with a map from their website.

I've got the same issue with 2010 gsxr 750. 4th gear around 6rpms. But like yours seems like it has a flat spot when at a constant speed. I've checked the TPS, chain etc. ran some injector cleaner through it. I was told that cuz of the slip-on and K&N air filter it could be the fuel/air ratio...

Installed my tires at Mikey Moto, great guy, highly recommend. 15 bucks a tire off the bike.
