Mopeds/Scooter and LSV (low speed vehicles)

My truck is a brand new 2018 with less than 1000kms on it. The place that did the sticker is the same place that inspected the truck for delivery. I have no problem with techs getting paid for what they do. There was nothing to do, therefore it's a cash grab. I think the inspection...

Mopeds/Scooter and LSV (low speed vehicles)

I could start a search of a totally new company, but I feel like they would ask all the questions of where my other insurance is and anything over $500 a year, I won't do it anyway. I wasn't trying to get into a bike in Ontario. The person I bought the scooter off said they used it for one...

Mopeds/Scooter and LSV (low speed vehicles)

My broker said it's mostly about being the first year of insuring it. My M109R is plated in Florida and it's only 20 bucks a month on my cousin's policy. Pretty different. I went to the broker I've used for 25 years and has all my current business. I don't actually really need to get this...

Mopeds/Scooter and LSV (low speed vehicles)

^^^^ This was helpful. looks like my scooter falls into the second catergory, LSM. Seems like the traditional moped with pedals and e-bikes have clear designation too. The question now is what does an LSM vehicle do for me plate wise and/or insurance wise.

2009 Aprilia SportCity 50 mopeds with pedals give you what exemption? Also, I am 46 years old, with two 2018 daily drivers, two collector cars, a large home and 29 years driving history.

Mopeds/Scooter and LSV (low speed vehicles)

Looking for some education on mopeds/Scooters, (ie: 49cc or less) and how they would differ from anything above that. I'm aging myself, but I always understood mopeds or motorized bicycles with less than 49cc to be treated differently than a regular bike. I've been doing all this research this...

Of these three, which would you pick?

so, I'm really slow to move, but I finally bought an M109R over the holidays. It was my cousin's bike. I've leaving it in Florida for now. Hope to get down and do some cruising in the next two months.

Of these three, which would you pick?

Overwhelmed by the M109R love! Good to know. I guess the M50 would be more comparable to the 883, but I also like the Indian Scout everyone posted up, good looking and in the same price range. Wasn't ever on my radar. These three were posted because those are the only three that look good...

I guess the M50 is the lower model then?

Of these three, which would you pick?

Interesting! I saw the 2015 883 at the show, and in white with chrome it pops like crazy, would match my pick-up truck too with a decent price, but I'd end up modding it as well. I've always wanted a Victory, my understanding is compared to a Harley, there is a lot more value there and...

    The Motorcycle Show -Feb 20 21 22

I stumbled accross this show cause I was taking my kid to the Marlies games, but wow was I glad I went, lots of great new stuff to see worth the $18 admission IMO. Kawasaki and Harley had the best displays IMO. The new GSX-R looks sic too.

    cycle world Toronto

I've been looking at bike listings since early Feb. In the last week, I have not seen the prices going up, but I've seen many many more bikes for sale at good prices. Spring is the time to buy and sell and nobody should be in a rush. As soon as they threaten it won't be here next week, good...
