I don't need to convince myself of anything.. I really couldn't care less how much fuel it uses, I get a little better then the 52 feet to the gallon that u think it gets.. I've had 6 cyl vehicles that were harder on fuel then this truck.. And yes for a big heavy truck with a big V8 it's not bad...
I have a 2005 F150 FX4 super crew with 5.4 and it's not that bad on fuel. But I have to agree it's really high and makes loading a bike in the back extremely hard unless you have a few people around to help out..
I upgraded a few years ago from a cbr600rr to 1000rr and my opinion is handling is about the same, of course the 1000 has way more power but is manageable. Your the one in control the bike will only do what you want it to.... My girlfriend has never been on any kind of bike and she rides my 08...

I have a 2008 CBR1000RR from the US and any warranty work I needed done the bike had to be brought back to a US dealer to be repaired or I had to pay myself to have it repaired here.
I have the taylormade on my 2008, sounds great not crazy loud but definitely better then stock,still gets pretty warm on the ankle tho.. also have taylormade fender eliminator on same bike and it really cleans it up back there... I'm not sure where ur located but your welcome to come check it...
