Generally most people that bring their tires to me have about 12 to 14k on them. Since your tires are the only thing keeping you on the road, its not worth risking the extra couple of thousand k.

The radar actually absorbs through tress and will pick up the fastest or largest moving object. A laser is aimed directly at the car so you are basically buggared!
