I just can't get past the bug eyes. Though while riding I wouldn't have to look at them. Once at the $20K+ mark more options are out there.

Bug eyes are definite thing...
I like the bike overall... *BUT*

The sound...
V4=>V2>i3.

Basically, Tuono = Superduke > Speed Triple > i4.

Such a tough decision overall. But the sound and overall soul needs to figure in somewhere.

Im more worried that the bike will be super refined and smooth

Some of us like em raw and wild

Only test ride will tell

i'm almost certain it will be, stick with the SDR, you have the right bike already.

Had a Daytona 675... was the absolute most buttery smooth bike I have ever owned.
It was really nice, but at the same time, lacked the "rawness" that gives personality.

*IF* the Speed Triple has that rawness... I will seriously need to consider one.
 
Lots of sensationalism and jingo in that advertorial. Looks like an angry hornet. Wouldn't mind riding it for an afternoon though.

Spec sheet looks good, very curious about where they slot the bike into the super naked spectrum.

Shame about those angry eyes. Looks like Zorak from Space Ghost...

But I think the absolute pinnacle of Speed Triple design was 2005, with the bugeye headlights, beautiful split-spoke wheels, and the stubby tail with the high twin exhausts, so I'm obviously dating myself...

yes i'm sad to see the under tails go.
 
Looks like a beaut. Not the most powerful but has enough imo. Good looking specs and if it has the personality of the past models it'll be great.
