In the time that it took me to scrape the side and rear windows, the ice on the roof had become relatively easy to crack and remove.

Stuck it on 22C on front defrost, with the fan one notch off full. Took the ice on the windscreen off in one big piece too.

There's some flex in the roof, hood, and trunk. Warm the car up for a few minutes and press down on the ice to break it free, then take it off in small sheets. Generally speaking when it's ice that you're dealing with, it's not as cold. If it's cold and you're dealing with ice, it's probably because you didn't clean it off when it was snow.

The tarp idea sounds like a bother to tie down, plus it would scrape the paint in the wind.

Hahaha, it's your fault I was driving in a parking lane, attempted an unsafe lane change, lane split for half a block and then got a ticket. Classic.

The camera doesn't capture that unfortunately. If I didn't notice this guy creeping over in my right window he probably would have clipped me. Since I noticed him I moved over to the left slightly and braked.

and if you didn't have the dashcam and contact was made, it would have been a he said / he said situation, as far as i know.

Where was that, because I don't see any signage indicating that the middle lane can turn right. The car before you goes straight through, and you seemed a little slow on the gas.
