True story, a retired female high school teacher told me women are fracking things up.
It was women that went and started their pet projects of all these things we have then they banded together and voted in their projects into the general curriculum.
A woman said guys didn't do this stuff and when the guys objected the women just outvoted him and blocked the guys out.
A woman laid out the failures that was created by other women...and yes they targeted her because she objected to their pet projects...she retired before they could do anything.
So yeah, you parents are not in control and allow your children to spend 8 hours a day in a brown building most of you have never stepped into fully.
The old school teachers and principals are also trying survive and get to retirement...they also agree that the system is "retarded".
School has been reformatted to teach girls and not boys...see all the soft boys coming...the old school women did not tolerate soft boys...hmmm
But oh well...ship has sailed and the Ridlin is a plenty.
I believe the tides are changing and millennials are becoming more conservative. That, plus the fact that reality tends to slap kids in the face pretty hard after school, once the bills start rolling in. You can choose to be a piece of garbage marxist, or you smarten up and play ball with everyone else. Everyone realizes it, it just takes longer for some to clue in.
And that's the bit that really gets me, particularly when they're attacking someone like Peterson. When they shut him down (at least inside) here in Hamilton, some of these protesters were actually hold banners with the hammer and sickle screaming down the his "hateful propaganda".
Do they even truly understand what that symbol represents? I'm guessing no...Also of interest is how this element of the protest did NOT appear in the local paper,
Two weeks later(ish), the paper makes mention of the one old guy who yelled something about muslims at another free speech rally outside of city hall, and made certain it was conflated with Nazi ideology.... I mean one group is literally holding up the actual symbols representing murderous tyranny, nothing; and the other guy yelled go home, yeah make sure that gets in.
.... Nevermind the fact that the Nazi's were not even a human rights drop in the bucket compared to Soviet numbers of atrocity

I work at one of these "Marxist-Leninist" institutions you're fond of and oddly everything is not as it seems. Your SJW types are definitely hard at work and they definitely exist in different incarnations of extremity. However, they are also louder then your average student and so you get a disproportionate amount of attention given to these types. There's a significant number of oddly well adjusted students who are not fringe on either side. They are pretty centrist with mostly left leaning tendencies who are just as quick to mock and denounce their far left SJW and far right crypto fascist colleagues. As always everyone else takes notice of those shouting the loudest.
I believe you. Unfortunately those loud whackos seem to be having an effect on the rest of us... this latest batch of gender fluidity nonsense, or stuff like C16 or M103 as examples.

Just like the Berkeley riots. The left became violent & tried to prevent free speech for Patriots. The left was throwing firecrackers & bricks at the Patriots. Media reports "Trump supporters clash with rioters". Don't worry mate, I wouldn't be dumb enough to take it. My educational investment would lean towards a course with prospect of gainful employment upon completion.... Life choices.
