Mv Augusta GTA?

That Veteq bike is simply gorgeous, the Italians just have design sense the Japanese will never get. The steering damper looks like jewelry.

El Cockblock, I'd park that AMG model in my office and just stare at it all day long. And I would stay on the list to get one.

Love the guys with the Kawi H project and the Yami 1 touting specs, who cares? These bikes are special.

I was hooked on this bike since a friend of mine sent me a picture of him leaning on the prototype back when the AMG GTS was launched.

The snug SOB said "I bet you don't see a bike like this in the north pole..."

I'm just going by the earlier post that stated it was a 2016

I was told the model they have is a 2016, I don't think the photo is the actual bike they have in stock.

Its just the little touches like the stitching on the seat. It just sets it off

First time I saw something like that was on in a guy's Ferrari. Ever since then, I've wanted it. I totally get CB's obsession.
Also, y'know, Italian ?

I'm already modding it. In my mind.

The Italians have the advantage of being at the heart of nearly 2500 years of European history--they know visual design. The Japanese are at their best (and sometimes weirdest) when they ignore what Europe, Britain and America are doing. Hard to do when your economy relies on those export markets for growth, I suppose.

Case in point: the CB1100 concept (the racy one with the bikini fairing). Looks sporty, quality components, nod to Honda's past and based of an existing niche model that sold reasonably well to begin with. Simple, elegant even. What did they serve up this year instead? An overcooked Thruxton clone. Gah.

I am eager to know this as well.

Sorry about that boss: http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2016...cted-cb1100-concept-at-osaka-motorcycle-show/ and http://www.motorcycledaily.com/2015...tweight-sport-bike-debut-at-tokyo-motor-show/

It's the Concept CB Type II, not production yet. The only thing that's carried over so far is the checkered tank decal. Nice. Not the sort of detail that gets riders hot & bothered. I love the look of the stock CB1100 but Honda is being Honda again. Should have been the platform for tons of Honda bolt-on accessories.

What bike are you referring to?

Non-judgemental knee jerk judgement: like. Critical think: More moto candy, what is going on? High heels and lipstick.

If AMG takes over the company, does that mean the bikes would be available through Mercedes dealerships?

I think it'll be more along the lines of them using their distribution network to decrease shipping times

It is my understanding that with the current 25% stake in MV, they showcase the motorcycles on European AMG dealerships only, not Mercedes'.

MV Agusta cannot go bankrupt as it would be BRUTALE for the brand, its riders and the motorcycle world.

The other italian brand is their RIVALE, perhaps they should QUICK SHIFT on their steps and save the brand.

We know that it must be such a DRAGSTER for the Castiglionis to see their brand suffer.

The mighty F4, the nimble F3, they're back at the race and we all want them to get SERIE ORO on the podium.

There's one thing I'd say about what's going on with MV Agusta:

No me gusta.

I wish this post had a "like" option.
