The "S" in MSRP stands for "suggested" FYI

Of course, I get that.

So, you're going to negotiate yourself a 25% discount? I don't mean to be a wiseguy. They're actually leaving the showrooms this cheap? Can one find similar deals on Hondas, Kawis, and Yamahas?

Often at end of season, or when new models are coming in, or for whatever reason, larger dealers will have smoking deals on their last couple models in stock...i remember Inglis cycle in London clearing out brand new 2008 zx6rs for like $6999(but they were yellow)

So i bet that price on that gixxer is from some dealer website

Well, $8999 sounds like a great deal to me. Who is offering this price?

That came from the Suzuki Canada website.

Like others have said the deals are there you just have to look around. Couple months ago i saw a handful of them being sold at $8,995 at a dealership in kitchener. Another place in ottawa was actually selling them at 8,599.

A quick search on kijiji doesn't come up with these results right now but this one does pop up, http://www.kijiji.ca/v-moto-sport/v...600/575866162?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true $9,389 in montreal, brand new with warranty and all that good stuff.
Here's another on in ottawa for 10,299, http://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes/...00/1019710492?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true not quite the 8999 i previously saw but quite a way from 12,299 MSRP

As the year winds down you an probably pick up something with a similar price here at the show or even at local dealerships

Good enough. Thanks for elaborating.

I wish the Triumph dealers could do end-of-year discounts like these.

Ill be touching your girl later

I don't keep up with new bike prices but one day when I went in for oil filters I saw a tag hanging from a rice rocket clip on and thought "dyam these street racers are cheap" and it was no lowly 300 learner bike either.
