Hi there just a short hello to all members. Have known the site for some while now but have only just now registered. I used to ride a Kawasaki GPZ 600 many years ago but now I live in Thailand which has the highest accident rate for motorbikes in the world and I think I'm too old so I get my thrills watching the bikes on TV.

I was in Thailand last May. Spent a few days in Bangkok then headed up to Chiang Mai and did the Mae Hong Son Loop. Awesome ride, plan to do it again.

The province/city ,the roads that intersect and the number of curves on the route. Riders paradise.

No need to wait so long, this trip is super cheap. I spent $1,700 total for airfare, bike rental, gas, hostels, food and spending money. :) Also blew $500 getting inked, but that's a story for another thread.

wow how long were you there? And how long was the bike rental for?
