You may wish to consider a less solution first: Sea Foam. All I can say is that **** works! I believe the instructions are 1 oz. of Sea Foam for every gallon (not litre) of fuel in your tank. Best way of doing it is find out what the total capacity (incl. reserve) of your tank is and add the appropriate amount of product. Then fill the tank up with 91 or 94 octane fuel and then go ride through that tank of fuel. Instructions for use are here: http://www.seafoamsales.com/how-to-use-sea-foam-motor-treatment.html#nogo
I tryed seafoam and it didnt really do anything , I think my needles are really gunky , and I have no clue when the previous owner cleaned the carbs & i had the bike for 3 yrs and didnt touch them except using seafoam
Varsol and brake cleaner. That worked for me. But you'll need one strand of wire from a wire brush to clean the jets. I did it myself. It gives u a great feeling of accomplishment. I'm pretty sure your carbs arent as bad as mine were. My carbs haven't been touched since we bought the bike in 2000. And it was sitting with gas in it for well over 5 years. Bro didn't drain the tank.
well bike is really boggy and has no power under heavy acceleration and now my idle is comign down really slow when coming to a light ti stays at like 4k then takes awhile for it to come down even when i rev it to come back down
