Seen this before but it's still pretty awesome. By any chance are their pegs designed to grind down more easily than typical street pegs?
it doesn't take much to lose half a peg. Lost many of the brave soldiersNope, if anything you'd want them to grind down less. They offer protection from the rest of the bike sliding across the asphalt and you want to be able to continue the race if possible after a crash.
I'm sure that bike was moving a lot faster than your typical street crash.
