What equipment are you using for the MotoGP Video pass? I'm thinking of signing up this year. Will the latest generation of Home Theater Tv PC work? e.g The Intel Connect Stick ,HP Strem Mini etc. They generally use Intel Celeron or Atom chips. Connected to your TV. Or should you just get a entry level PC with an I3 chip and Integrated graphics as a minimum.

thanks

I stream from my laptop to my tv with a chromecast. I gave up trying to log into MotoGp.com using my "smart TV"

Thanks,

I leaning towards just getting a half decent PC-workstation as a HTPC and leave it near the TV (stream the internet connection to the PC - WIFI and hook up the PC using HDMI to the TV.)

Just something to think about - Everytime you want to fast forward, or watch something different etc are you going to want to get up from your couch and go change the Laptop/desktop?

I do it remotely with the laptop on my 'lap' and never have to get up..... damn maybe I am just lazy!

Have a smartphone? Use it as a wifi/bluetooth remote for your device.

aioremote.net as one example. Lots of options in the app store. My pc is plugged into the tv permanently, and use the phone or tablet as a remote/wireless keyboard/mouse.

Thats what I am thinking of getting. A entry level i3 computer , 4gb ram , intel hd with a keyboard similar to one mentioned above. I think that should be good enough for the Standard subscription of MotoGP Videopass.
