I rearended a lady!!

This thread got me to thinking how many times I've been hit/have hit other people low speed oopsy. I can't ever remember money changing hands or it being dealt with beyond "ah fuggetaboutit". One poor lady parked her brand new car on my trailer hitch. I've hit people from behind and have them apologize to me for slamming on brakes. I let them off easy:lol:

The other person's attitude can depend on the age of the car. If it's brand new they may be more touchy. A few years old and it likely isn't mint. My wife scraped the bumper of a co-workers car and was honest about it. He got several estimates the lowest being $300.00 cash. He signed a letter saying that was the end of it.
