The Reasonably Priced Used Motorcycles for Sale Thread

Probably one of those situations where the significant other says the bike has to go but the owner doesn’t really want to sell it so they make it impossible for any potential buyer...or on drugs as previously mentioned *.

The '89 RZ350 was the blue and yellow one, right? Buddy bought one brand new. A week later dropped it on some sand around a corner. Just a few scratches. Sold it for $1k less than paid....but wouldn't sell it to me.
Now that I see that they're worth so much I'm ******!

Would this be a good first bike? Is it even possible to get insurance for this thing with an M2?
These are very easy bikes to drive. Expect to spend $500-$800 or more on new tire, pads, brake fluid flush. Everything from sitting for a few years. I have owned 5-6 of these. Loaned them out as first bikes to friends. Just expect a bit of a spongy ride.

yes. but as others have said, you don't know with older bikes. However, if you have some mechanical skills, spare time, and a garage, I might say go for it. Lowball half or third price?! -its probably still outside with the tarp blowing around.
The smart thing (imo) would be to keep putting money away and buy a newer bike.

EDIT
EX 500 ninja deals come up often enough. Its an under valued bike imo. You can go through this thread (backwards) just to get an idea on whats available for what price. best luck.

ALERT lol. someone else tell me it isn't so - take a long look at the front forks on the honda 400 - they look bent back a bit? ...tubes don't look rusted though lol

not sure. optical illusion?

come to look again, lol
they sure look bent

may not run well with the naked intakes like that

Not a bad asking price. It's just so rare and such a cool bike I had to share. Trial and trail hybrid, 280 2t, ultra lightweight for a trail bike, and its street legal!
I'd love to use this bike to beat the Corduroy Enduro!

Neat bikes but too lightly built for trails basically mtb components. Also good luck if you need a part as they went out of business.
