No photo id needed to get guns in Canada - all legal - WTH! Special treatment?

This one ranks right up there with the fake poorly photo-shopped ON driver's license showing a picture of a veiled women. Oh the white fright uproar, no one noticed that the sex on the license said M (lol)!

Link to the legislation change in the Firearms Licenses Regulation then we will talk. Current says picture of FACE...

(2) An application that is made by an individual who, for religious reasons, cannot be photographed must be accompanied by

(a) a declaration, signed by the applicant, stating that the applicant cannot, for religious reasons, be photographed; and

(b) a declaration, signed by an individual who is of the same religion as the applicant and who is authorized under the laws of a province to solemnize marriages, stating that that religion prohibits the taking of photographs of its members and that the applicant is a member of that religion.

SOR/2004-274, s. 13.

Muslims don't have a prohibition against their photograph being taken...it's other religions that believe the camera will steal their soul or something...

Still carry on....

Anyone know a good seamstress? I've made a mess of some scissor holes in my white tent.

This doesn't fit -D-'s narrative though. Obviously this is a loophole that Trudeau created to allow a muslim takeover

No **** the MSM didn't report on this

You made an assumption. I don't have a narrative.
If there is one it's called EQUALITY for ALL not special treatment for some.

way to misrepresent/lie again...women don't want to show their faces e.g. burka therefore we change the rules so they don't have to place their photo on citizenship id/gun id...might as well do the driver's license and health cards too.
They came to Canada, Canada did not go to them.

Can you say to the govt that you do not want to provide a photo...Why not?

You say you don't have a narrative but you definitely have a theme.

Hey...do I need more than a couple of holes in my tent? How big should they be?

Muslim women can show their faces to other females. It's a little like asking a female customs officer to search you if you're female. Next?

Gosh you got me making blanket statements and we know that's a no-no...muslim women, who choose to cover their faces...can show their faces to other women. How's that.

It's a little like being someone's property lol

Maybe they just don't want people to see they marry their cousins

That's a separate issue....which I might agree with you on, but this whole thread is a cluster**** of bollocks with respect to the original post.

uhm once again they came to Canada, therefore they accepted the "contract".

Ok let's see your foolishness through
have a female officer take the photo for the legal requirements, problem solved.

So if non Muslim women feel like saying I don't want to do x just like the Muslim women therefore all is good...right.

If I move to China and their national/laws state everyone must wear a red wrist band on their left hand...then guess what...that is their deal and you know it before you go there and before you decide to take the social/legal contract to become a Chinese citizen.

Absolutely right..they came to Canada that preserves freedom of religion. Congrats, you got it. Phew. Now was that so hard?

way to avoid the obvious again, lol

I guess England better shut up and let them keep raping 12 year old girls and blowing people up.
carry on...we see you avoided the China example.

btw- if they are coming to Canada to live their culture and religion then WHY LEAVE their homeland...hmmm

remember, pendulums are not one way.

I dunno. But I do know that freedom of religion are part of the laws of our land. Would you prefer that immigrants ignore our laws?

How is that working out in Sweden/England/France right now? Mass raping women...preying on and raping 12 year old girls.
Don't see that community marching against the wrong doers of their "kind".

And you are agreeing that the govt should create public prayer spaces (tax payers, govt spaces) for a specific/any religious group? yes or no
And you are agreeing that workplaces should do the same? yes or no

Ahhh...so it's all muslims and only muslims raping women and preying on 12 year olds? Correct?

So you are stating that it is the Muslims doing this?

I did not write Muslim as per your quote of me.

At every turn I have demonstrated your blind bias and illogical position and your Freudian slip betrayed you.

end thread/ you carry on...

Correct, freedom of choice and religion are part of our Canadian culture, but unfortunately it seems now a days that Islamics and Muslims appear to take precedence, and preference over any other religion.

Anyone that speaks out against that is immediately labeled a racist and a bigot.

Perfect example is when non-Christians were getting all butt hurt when people say Merry Christmas.

I don't get offended in the least when I see signs celebrating Eid, Ramadan, Diwali, Chanukah etc, etc..

I do have family members that celebrate other faiths, and I am an agnostic, but still.

I'm an atheist. I think most aspects of religions are more than a bit odd...but we have laws. Some you like, some you don't. The other side of this coin is the French approach where you ban religious paraphernalia in certain places. I'm not a big fan of what burqas and hijabs symbolise but hey, I live in Canada, live and let live.
