Live Stream-Police Shooting - This one has certainly sparked retaliation already

People are now gunning down the Police.
I guess this is what happens when a them vs. us mentality prevails....which is what I see is happening here in Toronto/Ontario...don't kid yourself.

They are lucky they did not kill the little girl in the back seat, that city would have burned down imo.

I saw the CNN interview with his mother, she said her son and his gf are too of the most laid back ppl you can meet hence why they got along because their personalities were similar.

It's a simple fix, as with the Louisiana shooting, turn the case over to the Justice Department.
Body cameras for all cops and car cams (front and rear).

Before you approach a car, get on car intercom...DO YOU HAVE A GUN IN THE CAR?
If yes, please put safety on and place gun on the roof of car.

Cops can do this from the safety of their cars. I have no issues as they walk towards the car with their guns drawn for their safety and to get the situation under control. If you are alone in urban environment, wait for backup.

The cops are in control and dictate what will likely happen, start off talking to people as if they are trash then you end up with bad results.

Treat people as the hunted and eventually you will become the hunted, there are more civilians than cops.

The Police need to take control of their own people and weed them out, start firing them, start prosecuting them.
If you are allowing garbage in your force then you are part of the problem too.

This is just the tip of the iceberg. My evolving world view is that everybody thinks other people are nothing at best or just plain dirt. The cracks are really starting to show among those in a position of authority. Whether they're gunning you down, overcharging you for minor offences or misusing public funds and trust and etc. It's all the same ****, different pile. You can knock religion all you want, I know I do, but to a large degree it kept people operating with a moral code which is now seen as anti-winning in life. I am truly surprised more "officials" aren't seriously maimed by a fed up public. An example is what the divorce industry has done to men. That's law makers and judges right there ruining lives. All over the road rant but like I said, same **** different pile. We better get our collective heads out of our *****. How about starting with a bit of personal responsibility? That would solve half the problem.

Nope, because people were taught for a few generations now that they are #1 and nothing is their fault and other ppl are haters and they can suck it.
We reap what we sow...but hey some ppl will just move further away thinking that it won't happen in my area...until it does then they are in shock, then they move further away.

Sadly not much will change, that's the way it is in the US.
Little kids were SLAUGHTERED (Sandyhook school) and nothing changed.

I'm not shocked. I was wondering when the retaliations would start. That video was beyond disturbing. That clearly sent someone over the edge in another state. It's pretty scary what is happening down there. That much hatred floating around, with that many guns.........

The roadside executions need to come to an end.. its literally driving people crazy.

Most states also have exceptions to those laws... you can't "stand your ground" against state/fed officials in most... Indiana changed their laws to remove those exceptions a couple of years ago... In Indiana you can "stand your ground" against law enforcement.

Isn't the first cop killed black white or otherwise and won't be the last sadly. I wouldn't want to be black or a cop in the states at this point in time. But were told omg dont go to mexico its too dangerous !! Seems like the western consumer economy is like a pyramid scheme where quality of life can only be maintained by ever expanding use of goods and services. I hate the idea of communism and overly socialist policies but the fact is we have enough natural resources, technology and manpower to assure everybody a decent standard of living. These thing just need to be managed properly. This can only happen with a major cultural shift and I don't mean dirt poor people asking for more for doing nothing. Everybody needs to pitch in including those at the very top who are driving us over the cliff. Never going to happen, human nature won't allow it. Keep having babies and tell them fairy tales as they're growing up. Use the TV if you have to.

The western world's definition of quality of life has become distorted to the point that toys are considered more valuable than family.

If we all became frugal the western economy would collapse and that includes RRSP's. Eat at home. No designer goods. No bike bigger than 500 cc. All cars built on the Checker cab concept. Very limited credit.

I would consider the above except for the investment part* if everyone else took the same cutbacks but it would be a slugfest of people wanting everyone else to cut back first.

* You can't cut a chicken's head off and still expect it to lay eggs.

Our "Reality" is delivered by the media which is controlled by a few companies. The average viewer gets more info on sport statistics than they do on life affecting events. Hours of baseball, football and NASCAR "Jimmie-Bob needs a half pound more air in the right front tar" commentaries followed by a 30 second blurb on gun death stats.

People in the west consume a lot of wasteful and even violent resources based on many ******** factors, such as preference, "history and traditions", lack of education, and even full on apathy towards the detriment to the environment.
