Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

So.... Basically. "I spent all winter building this abomination, realized I spent far too much money and it looks like a bit of a turd, so here's some vague photos from a distance that don't really show the bike at all. Please come and look at it and take it away so I can recoup all the money I spent. Please don't laugh."

Funny thing is, he had better pictures before. Guess he decided they were working against him

he would be better off reverting it back and selling the parts

A couple of these recent ones are in Brampton. Maybe I'll put mine up for sale too. Worth $3,600.00 but I'll go for $9,995.00 and see what happens?

$28k Duc 1098

But dude, it's "art on wheels", and the Öhlin forks man, it's all about the Öhlins. The Öhlins are amazing. Did he mention the Öhlins?

I've seen this guy up at the forks.

With the bike having averaged only about 400K for every year of it's age it's amazing it's been seen anywhere other than the guys driveway.

Missed that. Mind was too busy being blown that you also get an owner's manual included at that price.

Carbon rotors? wtf? I thought they liked heat in them before they worked well.

The bike looks nice and I am sure it will sell this summer if he knocks about 15K off his price. As it stands now, how many people with 30K cash are looking for 8 year old bikes with no pedigree?

Funny thing is, I had that exact Carbon vs Steel conversation with the guy.. I think I upset him.

Anywho, I got a good look at the bike and I can assure you, the benefits of all that Ohlins and Carbon were never truly experienced by this guy

$4100 2015 Honda CBR300

This guy keeps railing on it being "Dealership condition", "like-new", "tires <great>", "Basically brand new"

And then he says he's giving it up because he's decided to use a car instead for his daily commute.

Not sure whats wrong with that?? Its basically new as it has 1500kms

I don't think that one is "stupidly overpriced"

I haven't looked at the going prices in a while, but seems like that might actually not be too bad of a pick up
