MotoGP 2015

I'd rather Pedrosa get better and stay. Stoner wouldn't keep up to mm anymore. That kid is a weapon and Stoner is becoming "old" for the sport.

Pfft he's not old compared to grandpa that just won the first race... Although nobody compares to the legend.

20 yrs in MotoGP and he is still the fastest (maybe smartest) on the right day. And mostly healthy after 20 yrs which is a miracle.

Would love to see Stoner drop by and get seat time on the new Duc, apparently now fueled by unobtanium.

Speaking of fuel, with three dry podiums under the new Open rules starting last year, doesn't Ducati go back down to 22L?

Not that it matters, they say they only use 22L during the race, but we might see them finally losing the soft rear option by the end of this season - three dry wins not a tall ask at all given yesterdays result.

I thought it was 1 of 1st OR 2 of 2nd OR 3 of 3rds.

I have read that the fuel and tires are less important than the ability to continue engine development versus only 5 sealed engines.

Moto2 was a pretty hairy race, those guys are now running as tight as Moto3.

Quartararo was leading several laps in Moto3 and won't turn 16 for a few weeks!

I think the Dukes are going to be a serious contender in 2015.

I've only been watching Moto GP for two years now and I thought I missed the Rossi era. Glad to see him racing at top form with great competition. The guy still looks like he is in his prime of his carreer. One thing I have noticed about Rossi in short time I've been watching him. Is thst he doesnt give up , even when hes in 10 th spot he slowly finds his his way up to the front. I see the same in Marc but I dont see that in Lorenzo or Pedrosa. That was one great race. Hope the rest of season is as much of a battle as that was.

Moto2 was a snooze fest, as soon as Lowes binned it Zarco was clear by 5 seconds until he suffered shifter issues.

Impressive debut by the young kid, he certainly has the speed.

Yup. Felt bad for Zarco though. Did you see he almost hit a pit board because he kept looking down at his pedal?

That was scary. I'm sure he had a "brown shorts moment". He had the race won easily before the shifter failed.

That crash between Pons and Salom was insane.

Pons lost his mind there.

I think he grabbed to much brake too late and washed out the front end into Salom, who was the innocent bystander. Even without Salom there, he never would have made the corner.

He falls. A lot. Check out his awesome CV...I guess it pays to be related to Sito.

No man should ever have to feel what Zarco felt as that linkage broke off...

All the words uttered under the helmet were probably NSFW

I was amazed Axel landed a ride after Sito dropped Axel from his team.

Anyone know a way to capture live races for offline viewing I have the motogp video pass
You can use a program called TubeDigger to record the live races: http://www.tubedigger.com/ (works for playing back their recorded/old videos and capturing them too).

Some issues are:

- The hacked/free copy of TubeDigger can't capture from motogp.com, you have to use the purchased version.
- If the video resolution/quality of the stream changes during the capture it will corrupt the entire video. The MotoGP flash player will automatically bump down the quality if it detects their server is close to full load or if it thinks your internet connection is being poopy.
- It captures in a really stupid FLV format that doesn't work with anything. When done capturing you can load up the FLV in AviDeMux http://sourceforge.net/projects/avidemux/ then choose "copy/copy/mp4v2" and it'll instantly spit out a nice h.264 mp4 file that plays on everything.
- TubeDigger uses huge CPU resources and ram during capture.

Would be a damn shame if he was forced to retire. I always held out hope that he would win a championship.
+1. Had held out hope for Haga too. Oh well.

And they say Rossi is old at 36....maybe this 20th season will show em.

Just ring stoner for a few races while he figures out what's wrong wouldn't that be a treat. I'd love to see marques vs stoner but who wouldn't
I could happily do without any more Stoner.

Moto2 was a let down. Lowes and Zarco had been lighting the timing on fire all weekend, and then come the race lowes was all over the map until he binned it and Zarco's shifter fell off. Didn't feel like much of a win for Folger. Plus Rabat crashed out and Alex Marquez finished mid field.
