Best Burger Joint?

You better walk. With all those calories, you'll have enough energy :)

I put on at least 5 pounds, every time that I go down. With every other fast food place coming up with 'healthy options', you've just got to love a place that responded with the Monster Thickburger

The Locker Room on Cundles in Barrie has excellent burgers : )

Went to burger priest on queen west this week - was good burger but SMALL ( even for me) & BUSY. Can't say it was in my top 3

Yes that was a great burger, I recall it being in the Yonge and St, Clair area, nice spot too.

All of this burger talk has me wishing for the old days of the original Toby's Good Eats, and their mushroom burger :(

Been to Burger Priest three times now and every time was awesome. Not sure how you got a crappy burger Fastar. Have u tried stuff off the secret menu yet?

So I want to take a ride this weekend. What's a good burger joint with a decent ride, say about an hour or so from Mid-Town Toronto?

At one time, back in the '80s, there were three of them that were all tied together. From what I hear two of them have closed and the last is more like a greasy spoon, than the high end burger joint they used to be.

Mushroom burger and chocolate brownie with butterscotch sauce, for dessert, was my poison of choice.

Should try Goody's diner at Mansville, but they only open on weekday. Stockyard at st Clair and Christie is a good spot too.

I've eaten so many burgers in my life that I'm pretty much imune to being impressed. Apache, Johnnys, Webers are all hype based on the good old days. There are three factors 1) The meat 2) The trimmings including bun 3) The atmosphere. Pick what suits you.
The best burger you ever had was the one you ate when you were the hungriest.

Wherever the good roads take me is where i find a place to eat.I like riding up to Collingwood and that route takes me past Super Burgers at the top of Hwy10.The burgers are so so,but the greasey onion rings are awesome.

Golden Star's Homemade Burger(don't waste your time with the banquet burger) @ Yonge n Steeles. Five Guys ain't bad either. Generally though, Americans do this waaay better.

Not sure is anyone has mentioned Square Boys on Danforth by Donlands. It was awesome when I was in high school. I remember my first time there I ordered a burger and fries and I finished the burger and couldn't even touch the fries cause I was so full.
