The only thing that would do that would be the GPU drivers that came with Windows 10 - what Macbook was it?

I don't mind 8, you can tweak it enough to mimic 7 in looks and it's faster. To each...

Mimico, I run dual-boot Win8 and Linux Mint on my laptops and home-built. Mint is easy to install from a usb drive and I didn't had any major install or hardware issues. I hear Ubuntu is also user-friendly.
I have a start button installed on mines. 8 loads much faster plus I have a ssd drive. I don't complain about load times

Macbook was an old Core 2 Duo with 9600M GT card. Also tried it on a desktop rig with 2nd gen i7 and GTX770 and got 2-30fps more on BF4 Ultra settings.

Runs as fast as Linux mint on my old netbook that has a first gen Atom and 1.5gb of ram.

So far every system I have tried it on has shown a noticeable improvement in overall performance.
