2 Great Lakes in 1 day

I met KewlKitty at the 328 Southern Cruiser charity breakfast just after 10am on Sunday. It was -1 when I headed out and only my left heated handgrip worked :frown: It got so cold on the 400 that I locked the throttle and leaned over putting my right hand on my left bar to warm it up! The breakfast was good and I met her at the RCAF Hall. There were over 80 people there! There were 9 cruisers and 1 sportbike (that would be me ) Some people went for a ride after, but I chatted with Kewl Kitty for a bit then did my own thing. I ended up riding to Wasaga Beach, then downtown Toronto -- 2 great lakes in 1 day! I didn't plan to do this but it worked out fine. Later this summer I'll try for 3 great lakes in 1 day.

Warning! Lots of gratuitous pics of my bike:

KewlKitty and I about to leave

It was windy and damn cold at Wasaga Beach! I would've rode my bike out to take a picture by the water but there's no way I would've made it past this

Lots of ice cubes in the water. It must be colder than a cold drink on a hot day! (that doesn't really make sense but it's funny to me!)

This is the closest I got to the water with the bike.

I rode over to the main drag at Wasaga Beach and there 2 nuts kite surfing

    My bike

2 great lakes in 1 day!

The 2 nuts kite surfing were probably thinking "look at that nut putting all those kilometres on his bike already"

Actually I didn't see any other bikes (besides the ones at the brunch) until about 2:30pm. I guess that does make me a bit of an odd duck (or odd cat)

Lake Ontario is an OK lake at best and Georgian Bay is not even a lake. I'm little disappointed at the liberal use of hyperbole. Are you in marketing?

Looks like somebody didn't pay attention in geography during in public school:

And yes, Georgian Bay is part of Lake Huron.

BTW, I still think an F2 is a sportbike, tankbag or not
