Depends on how busy I am this week. I'll be elmo if I have time to make the costume, but if I don't have the time, I'll reuse last year's cookie monster costume.

Not dressing up for halloween, trying to work that night so I don't have to deal with the kiddies ringing the doorbell and my dog barking every single time. Otherwise I'm putting an empty bowl outside with a sign that says "Please take one" and turning off the porch light.
When I was a kid, we used to egg houses like that.
