The "Are you thinking of a new bike for 2024?" discussion thread.

I think you’ll find the ergos fine then, but you’ll find the seat tall, and there’s no real options for a lower seat itself due to the frame design. Definitely worth sitting on either way to see what you think. I bought my new ride at AM sales and I believe the voyager was there at the...

The "Are you thinking of a new bike for 2024?" discussion thread.

They're more or less the same bike aside from top vs side opening bags, lack of top box and a different seat setup. Mixed info out there on if they have different gearing, but not really sure. I'm 90% sure the suspension and everything else is identical, so any differences your friend...

The "Are you thinking of a new bike for 2024?" discussion thread.

I just sold my Voyager a few months ago, exact same bike as the second picture basically. This thread was born out of the hunt for my new ride actually lol. I owned it for three riding seasons and put something like 70,000 km on it, would’ve been more but last year was a bad year, and...

    Used car sanity check

Do you have a deposit on it? Go over it with a fine toothed comb and insist on a test drive (find a mechanic friend to come along or do the test drive if you've got one of those friends) before handing over the balance. This place sounds shifty as hell and it wouldn't surprise me one bit...

Pay your parking tickets or get Barnacled.

Pretty sure it's covered. On the same topic, there was a story a month or so back I saw online where a college somewhere in the GTA (IIRC) was using these to solve their issue of students just refusing to pay for parking, and refusing to pay the resulting tickets. The lady in the story was...

    Who's still riding? Fall & Winter 2022 (& 2023!) edition!

I went out for a bit, but it was overcast and just generally not very nice. Lost interest. WTF is with this April we're having? I swear it was nicer in March.

    Motorcycle Memes....

The "OMG GRASS CLIPPINGS WERE ALL GONNA DIE!" nonsense is already hot and heavy on social media.

    2024 GTA Photo Tag!

    Excellent idea.

    2024 GTA Photo Tag!

Ok, turns out it was indeed the place that the reverse image search was turning up, but I couldn't find an exact enough angle to be 100% sure. Wasn't riding across the city just to find out it wasn't a match. All good, onwards.

    2024 GTA Photo Tag!

Didn't turn up a solid enough result to commit based on.

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

A call with Tesla confirmed that the truck had needed a complete reboot which took over five hours of sitting to complete. From the moment he’d initiated the reboot method of holding down two steering wheel buttons, the truck was apparently working on a reboot until some time in the middle of...

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

Seems to me they spent 4 years & 9 months trying to figure out how to bend all the body pieces, and slapped the rest of the truck together in the remaining 3 months.

    2024 GTA Photo Tag!

Maybe something about it being 4/20 explains this.

You, uh, in the right thread?

Any GTAM'ers own an electric vehicle?

It's increasingly evident that this thing wasn't thought through in many respects. It's turning into a poster child for "Form before function" and "rushed to production".

    Private sale and test rides

I'm positive it did, but at that point, not my circus, not my monkeys. I saw it for sale again last year, still looked great. In the end, road grime washes off. Thought about re-buying it, but then there's the whole "It'll be in the way and I won't ride it much so that would be...
