Been shopping for a small displacement bike, couple that have I've been considering are the KTM 390 Duke and Kawasaki Z400. Both naked ~400CC bikes.

A friend of mine experienced a low speed drop last week. Fortunately he is OK, he was wearing full gear which he credits with avoiding worse injury, just has some bruises. At first glance the bike fared pretty well. Needs a new front brake lever, handlebar/grip and rear brake pedal...
Anyone have any experience dropping a bike off on the US side of the border and having it shipped within the US for a vacation? Figured there would be less customs hassles to deal with this way, and likely cheaper. I'm 45 minutes from Niagara Falls, NY so I could just ride it down to drop it...

CN is replacing the old rail bridge where Snake Rd meets Waterdown. This really sucks, I know a lot of bikers use this route, I do on a daily basis!
