    Barkbuster help

According to Fortnine, this will not fit the 2019 models - can't see why, but it seems that way - maybe their site is not updated or something?

    Barkbuster help

I have Barkbuster Storms and they connect at two points for the 1st gen VStrom. Once at the bar end and then further inside of the handlebars. Did they change something for the newer models?

    New 2021 Suzuki vstroms

Absolutely. Personally, I don't see large gatherings being allowed until next spring, once the weather improves and the vaccine has been administered to all but Boston Celtics fans.

    New 2021 Suzuki vstroms

One of the best places to look for all things related to the V-Strom is www.stromtrooper.com For an archive with tons of useful info on the older models, another great site is V-Strom Riders International - Index

How do you usually bring a second helmet?

You can get a mesh bungee that will be a simple way to secure it to the passenger seat when no passenger is on it. Something like: Heavy-Duty 15 Cargo Net for Motorcycles, ATVs - Stretches to 30 (Black), Luggage - Amazon Canada and it will look something like this: I used to also just use the...

Ride Report: A Newbie's Odyssey to Sanguenay

Sounds awesome. I have a tool tube and carry a can of chain lube in there and a rag. Large Manual Holder, Tool Tube, Canister, 12" x 3-1/4". The Large Manual Holder is molded from high density polypropylene (HDPE). I have a centrestand and lube the chain once a day, just as I park the bike...

Assistance needed with motorcycle purchase & timing

yes normal. I never really pay attention to it so I can't remember for certain, but it might also go away if the bike is in neutral and not in gear.

    Looking to get vstrom 650

Best person to answer that is V-Tom since he’s had two of the 650’s and one 1000 and now a 1050. There’s another guy who lives near me (Rick123) but isn’t on this forum very much - he’s on his 7th or 8th Strom across all the various models and displacements, except for the 1050.

Ride Report: Yours to Discover to BC

Ride Report: Yours to Discover to BC

Thanks for posting those pics of the Kananaskis - I had planned to ride that on my way home, but skipped it due to the smoke. It looks really beautiful! I read about that nice gravel road - the range road south off the 40 all the way down to Coleman if you wanted to.Glad you got to hit that up!

    Looking to get vstrom 650

I agree that the barkbusters are better as well as a metal bashplate. The last time I dropped my bike the barkbusters took the hit with no issue - plastic OEM handguards would have been toast. The plastic bash plate won't do much if you are looking for it to protect anything. It's probably...

Another trip out west (fly/car), need suggestions

If the weather and time cooperates, then see if you can maybe take the inside passage ferry from Bella Coola to the north tip of the island (Port Hardy) and then drive down to Nanaimo or Victoria with some stops along the way and ferry back to mainland. Flying home out of Calgary allows you to...
