Out of curiosity.
How many of the people on here (probably the biggest forum in Ontario) go and attend sanctioned motorcycle races?
Whether it is CSBK, RACE, VRRA or SOAR.
I know there are a lot of racers on here (actual racers not TD riders) and thats not who I am interested in...
Seems to me, with what corners they repaved, that they want to run the Long track at Nationals again!
It has been a long time since that happened.

And corner 5 Nelson Track all got fresh pavement.

This is a serious piece of racing kit for around $16,000CND
A 2017 R6 for a comparison weighs 418lbs.....this thing weighs 143lbs different and only lacks 25hp
Ari Henning is racing one in...
In 2016 the Lightweight grids basically tripled at a few rounds when compared to 2015.
With the resurrection of LWT Sportsman replacing LWT Production, and LWT production replacing 300 Production.
There is a class for a lot of little bikes.
So do you have an EX500, GS500, RZ350....etc, or...
What is wrong with motorcycle racing?
Why are they current crop not liked?
Why is Rossi such a huge entity?
This is purely my thought, having spent the last 25 years watching motorcycle racing from National Superbikes to 500GP to MotoGP, from racing, and getting to know plenty of top...
FOR SALE!!!!!!!!- $1200
Alrighty folks....I am moving and happen to have a motorcycle that needs a good home.
1984 Suzuki GS550EFE. The full fairing is still intact, the motor runs nicely, the bike is bone stock (even has the air box) tires are bt45r with less than 9000kms on them, brand new...
Rolled into Shannonville Friday night, and dropped the 2 TUBracing bikes off. On saturday morning, I missed the first practice, as I was getting a new set of tires put on the bike. Finally took off the 10 race weekend old Michelins.
Went out in Practice #2 and started to get used to the tires...
So who is going?
I know a lot of CSBK racers are using this weekend as a shake down weekend with race conditions.
Its the first round of the CSBK 300 Production Ninjette cup.
By the looks of the weather (which will change 100 times by then) looks like mixed conditions.
My race weekend...
So going through the rule for Production LWT....I keep seeing glaring holes. With the Addition of the 300 Production class, the Lightweight Production rules are essentially the same.
Regularly the 550s/500s EX, GPz, etc...are forced to run against the SV650 in LightWeight Superbike...which as...
And I have some serious Questions...
1) will RACE eliminate 300 Production, or will they let the other 300 proddy bikes run in the class?
2) Will the 300s be able to bump to LWT Production...
Hey there everyone.
Does anyone have any ideas or tips or know a guy who knows a guy...
Who has Bandit 400 bits?
I am looking for an extra set of wheels, Motor bits, calipers, body work etc...
I race a Bandit 400 with RACE and it would be nice to have a few extra crash/blow up bits.
With RACE, or SOAR...(or with CSBK if they figure their **** out)
Who are you?
What are you racing?
How long have you been racing? (BrianP may need to break out the abacus to count that high)
Where do you plan on racing this year?
There seems to be a great deal of guys who want to head...
Yes, I know there is a lot of hate between SOAR and RACE (which is childish in its own right)
The motorcycle community is so small in Canada and Ontario for that matter. So why not everyone be welcoming?
RACE and SOAR run basically the same classes with some tweaks here and there.
