my brother in law has been in the Oakville hospital for close to 3 months now...he fell down his stairs and went in for a broken ankle...now mind you, he has other complications (diabetes, dialysis etc) but they're only doing physio twice a week for 10 minutes at a time...at this rate, he'll be...

    Missing riding .... :-(

@KWDRZ you're more than welcome...I've also watched On Her Bike and Toll Free Traveller...OHB is Kinga from Australia doing a RTW trip on her BMW and TFT is a guy (forget his name) from Mumbai who recently did the ride to Mount Everest base camp on a Himalayan...both really good channels...

Contemplating a new ride for 2020. Suggestions?

Good price...hubby bought one in 2018 in red...came off of a FZ1...he liked it for the bit that he rode it last year...has a weird whistling sound but according to the forums and reviews, it's normal...

@jc100 ...I'm not a CUV/SUV kind of girl, but I really likes how it drove...I have 64,000 km on my 2013 Elantra GT and the only reason I'm considering a new vehicle, is boredom...here's a link to the Kona... https://www.hyundaicanada.com/en/showroom/2020/kona

brand new Hyundai Kona, AWD, preferred trim...they're around $24,999 brand new, with $2000 off until end of this month...it's about the size of my Elantra GT (slightly shorter in overall length) but higher ground clearance and taller too...a small CUV...comes in CVT so you can manually shift it...

    Tibet!

sounds like an amazing trip, truly something to remember for a lifetime...i personally don't have a yearning to visit that part of the world (not sure why, just don't :( ), however, from what I've seen on YouTube and heard, it's a spectacular place with wonderful people...congrats on the new...

    Yamaha Tenere 700

@ScorpionT16 ...I wouldn't get it not just because of the height, but exactly why you said...too heavy and I don't have the off road experience to handle it...looking for a used tw200 but not many out there...

Looking at bikes, getting back into riding again

i love my FZ07...i don't ride as much as some of the others on this site, but i've put on 17,000 km in 3 seasons and have had zero problems with it...i put a puig windscreen on it, and while it's not perfect, it does an ok job...i love it's lightweight, torque and overall fun factor...the only...

    Looking for advice...

I like the YOLO idea, HOWEVER, as a few other have said, a cruiser is definitely different from what you're riding...I started on a CBR125, then went to a Vulcan 500 and hated it...the sitting position, my foot position, everything about it...too much pressure on my tailbone resulting in lower...

    Low CC Sport Bike Review

I see your point...I guess I'm used to doing it in my car as well...probably why I drive a stick shift...engine braking is definitely better for not wearing your brakes out as fast...it does make it harder for drivers behind you to not know you're slowing down because of the lack of brake...
