What is the cost to ride this?

    We had the talk.......

I'm sure the suggestion has been made by now, but get a dirt bike. It's an amazing hobby that the whole family can enjoy really quickly. Kids can start riding as soon as they are big enough for a bicycle and of course the wife can ride too. MX tracks are great because dad can go rip a few...

Ring 2 or Ring Pro Wifi doorbell

I have one at home (well actually two, I put one in my shed as a security cam) and I also have the Floodlight in the backyard. Plus, I just installed one at my parents house last week that we kids got them for Christmas. There is a delay between opening the app and connecting. Sometimes it...

Need a US address for free shipping. Is the CBIUSA still the best option?

I've used usaddressinc for years, never an issue. $5usd cash per parcel and they're just off the first exit after the Queenston/Lewiston crossing.

Getting an ownership with a nvis

As others have said, just contact the original dealership and get a new NVIS. I swore I replied with my story in this thread, but it must have been another thread. Anyway, something similar to this happened to me. I bought a dirt bike with no ownership, but the VIN was clear. So I went to...

    Sleep apnea and driver license

I have been using a CPAP machine for almost 10 years. I would always almost doze off while driving any longer than 20mins and I would regularly joke that I could fall asleep anytime, anywhere. I was honest with my doctor and told him all that. So after the sleep test it was found that I...

suggestions for a small blue plate dual sport

The KLX250 is nice little bike and I think would be great for what you want. I'm always confused when people say a bike is underpowered, or gutless, when they're not talking about racing. I race a lot and have a race bike (KTM 200xcw) for that. I had a 2007 KLX250 for dual sport duties and...

Getting an ownership with a nvis

In my case they entered based on a picture of the VIN (with a few other pictures of the bike to make sure). It really should follow the same procedure as you did before with the affidavit. The fact is that you can not contact the original owner.

MTO survey is up for 400 series increased speed limits

I'm game with increasing the limits for sure, just as long as I can still do 100km/h or so in the right most lane while towing my trailer. I would hope they would do what some states do (and has been already said here), by having a minimum and maximum. But as always, enforcement of slow...

    MXON

I'll probably DL it and watch it eventually.

    Great Pine enduro

You don't need insurance to get a green plate. The event promoter has to carry insurance to cover participants. If you signed in and paid to race, you should be covered by their insurance. I'm saying "should" just because I do not know 100%, more like 90%. And for what it's worth, check your...

    Great Pine enduro

20 minute moto? Ever watch an MX race? They're 30 min plus 2 laps. Yes a 125 likes to be on the pipe, but good luck holding it wide open through the woods. And it is against the rules to carry fuel with you on the course and to fuel up outside of a designated gas stop. The front number...

    Great Pine enduro

I don't believe you need insurance because the organizers cover it for the event. My son has done the Mini Pine on a KTM 125sx without any issues with gas. The stops are usually in 40kms.

Going to the dirt side LOL

I'm 5'9" about 180lbs and while I can physically ride my daughters CRF150F, it is way too small for an adult. She is about 5'4" or so and fits it perfectly though. I'm pretty sure the CFR150 is the same as the TTR125 in comparison. If you're going with a beginner bike I personally wouldn't...

    Off-road riding in Toronto?

Nope. $200 is still seriously stupid for a one day event of riding up a hill a few times.

    Off-road riding in Toronto?

Hosted? No. Competed in? Many times. This weekend for example I raced at Gully Mor in a two hour XC that cost me $60 on Saturday, then yesterday I raced an MX race at Steel City Riders for $50. If a day of racing cost me $200 to enter, I would not be racing. To try and get up a hill, you...

You say serious question, but then you jest. $200? That is seriously stupid.

    Off-road riding in Toronto?

There are a handful of MX tracks nearby, but depends on your definition of "nearby". Moto 86, Wingham Gore Road MX, London The Pit, a little east of London Motopark, Chatsworth RJ's Motosport, Barrie (Wednesday and Saturday's only) Burnt River Offroad, Burnt River (this has a small enduro cross...

    Off-road riding in Toronto?

You can check out Offroad Ontario for racing woods and enduros. Rally Connex does some rides that aren't races, but can be very challenging if you want. I'm not a member, but I think anyone can join Simcoe County Adventure Riders (I think Facebook group). You could probably find some people...
