Just got back from an hr ish ride. Hands got a bit chilly, mainly just the finger tips.. Debating if I wanna get some heated gloves or heated grips. ?

Does Oxford heated grips heat the entire diameter of the grip, or half? 3/4?

Z650, cause you spent so much time and love on it. But I'm a taller guy with a bad knee and hip that doesn't like cruisers so I'm biased lol.

@V-Tom if my insurance rates were cheaper I think that'll be my end bike. My Cb500x 100/month, quoted vstrom 650 150/month ? need to do my time and age faster lol. I mean 600$ a year isn't a super big deal but it could be spent elsewhere on a yearly basis..

@GreyGhost I wanna say no.. Cause it's a cheapy exhaust from ebay I bought just for some sound improvement lol. I think it's meant to be bad quality ? just trying to see if I can fix it for cheap. Spent like $80 instead of a genuine exhaust that seems to be priced at $200+++

I had some installed on my ninja 300 couple years ago, as bad as stock mirrors were, the bar ends were much worse. I rather do the chicken wing dance than not see anything at all. But I'm a bigger guy, 6'2 and wide shoulders.

Rode to work today, nice and warm. But then again I'm only about a 20ish min ride. I'll take any riding over no riding ☺️

Went for a quick ride around noon, just up woodbine to the end and back down the 404. Fleece jeans, soft shell fleece lined jacket and a leather on top, I think it was around 8c. Pretty warm.

I think with little or even no experience like myself, as long as you get used to some basics (turning right, Esp. sharp rights, is harder Imo cause throttle is there, takes a bit getting used to) and don't let the ego get the best of you on the way home, you'll be fine. Full stop for turning...
