Maybe so , but no contest in the cornering department, so the FJR would catch up at the gas station at the top of the mountain. ??????. The FJR is a great touring machine with tons of power BTW. Its also VERY HEAVY.

Yes very common. It's designed that way to meet emissions standards. Its also very dangerous in corners like in NC, unless you have a Very smooth wrist ?
