    Anyone Seen A Missing ATM?

Yes, I’m sure I’ve heard of it happening before. The perpetrators obviously used a stolen getaway truck or stolen plates but there must be some kind of tracker in the ATM.

    Anyone Seen A Missing ATM?

This is a couple of blocks away from my house in Brooklin at around 3AM this morning. Some guy stole an excavator and used it to remove an ATM from a Bank of Montreal, load it onto his truck and drove away. The front of the bank is totally destroyed.

Can a Yamaha FZ6R be made fast?

If you want to go faster for cheap focus on your riding skills. Your 600 with good tires will keep up to anything on public roadways. I had a friend that went to Freddie Spencer’s riding school in Las Vegas who was a pretty serious rider, he owned Oshawa Cycle Salvage.Middle aged, overweight...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

Very nice, I think the UK got the red and white version if I’m not mistaken. There’s a guy in North Carolina that will do a GS1000S paint job if you provide the bodywork for just over $2000 US.

I remember in the early 80’s two guys going up Scarborough Golf Club Road at warp speed on a Magna V65 and T-boned a car , flipping it , killing the occupants as well as the rider and passenger. That incident sent shockwaves through the riding community and the police started to really crack down...

The fact that PeeWee Gleason weighed about 115 pounds didn’t hurt either. I was pretty fast in high school on my GS750 when I weighed 115 pounds but yeah those Magnas were pretty quick,I didn’t encounter many though.

That’s why they’re so cheap when they come up for sale. It’s quite common to see them at drag strips to this day. I think you can still get a 1400cc top end cylinder and piston kit for them.

May I take the liberty of suggesting an alternative to the CB1100F? Although not as sexy and I have to admit the styling hasn’t aged so well but these were absolute bulletproof powerhouses in their day and this one looks exceptionally clean...

Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

There was one on Facebook marketplace owned by a Honda mechanical and he was asking $14,000 or thereabouts for it . Nice bike but I think about half that would be more realistic. Lots of early 80’s Honda 900 Super Sports for sale though, price is all over the map on those based on condition...

It looks like someone cut off the bracket on the frame that held the passenger foot pegs and the stock exhaust. And the blue saddle looks like crap. That bike in stock original condition would be highly collectible in my opinion though.

I had an ‘81 GS1100 exactly like the black one he’s asking $10,000 for. At the very, very best a mint low mileage one might go for $5,000 on a good day,it was the Hyabusa of its time, a fantastic motorcycle but they just built so many of them that they’re not worth a whole lot. Guys are still...

    Steps towards a simpler life

Wow, I’m getting way off topic here. Burning down your house and dealing with insurance companies is definitely not a step towards simplifying your life. This is on topic though, I just found out that a lifelong friend passed away of a heart attack yesterday morning at the age of 63. Live every...

    Steps towards a simpler life

It’s not so much getting paid enough that’s the problem. Sometimes you just go to do a simple job at someone’s house and you quickly realize that the homeowner or some “handyman” has been doing the electrical work there for the last 50 years. I’ve seen some pretty horrific stuff. It blows my...
