    COVID and the housing market

$6174 property tax. Wife and I being the nosey neighbours went and looked at 2 open houses. One for 1.1 mil and the other for 748k. The 748k had a line up to get in, and talking to the R.E she said the market is back to being red hot again. Both homes showed very well and I'm guessing will be...

    Who's still riding? Fall & Winter 2022 (& 2023!) edition!

I had my aortic valve replaced a couple of years ago and was supposed to spend some decent house arrest time, I started to suffer what I thought was brain fog. I begged my GP to let me go back to work earlier than scheduled and within in a couple of weeks I think was back to my old self. Another...

BMW vs Suzuki Oil Change Intervals

I do mine every 5,000, owners manual calls for 7500kms. Bike spends most of it life commuting on the DVP, most car manufactures nowadays aren't using mileage, its more of a logathrim calculation which determines when the car is due for an oil change.

Shops that specialize in "old" bikes

Bigger motor(more torque) probably way more comfortable, Honda parts availably over Kawasaki for the older bikes. Plus i think the old Fireblades look more and more iconic as each year passes.

I'm getting 8+ years out of my Yuasa battery (and you can too! lol)

I'll let you know, along with my used oil, filters and scrubs free to a good home lol.

I'm getting 8+ years out of my Yuasa battery (and you can too! lol)

3 years for me and I'll replace it. My luck the battery will **** itself up at elephant lake road or down in Pennsylvania. I'm not rich, just got better things to save money on.

    PA Loading Ramps on Sale

I would get an arched aluminum set of ramps. Something like this I’ve used for years.

What Podcasts are you listening to?

Beyond the grid Formula 1 Desert island disc, this is a brit thing but has an excellent back catalogue as the show has been running for 80 years+

That ZX7 will be a torture rack on the street. I too watched and enjoyed the latest vids from 44 teeth, i would probably look at something different as a classic purchase though.

    No Plate

Mine disappeared once, wasn't sure if i lost it on a ride or it was nicked. Bought these from Can tire, the nuts won't back off and it comes with a special allen key to remove the bolts. https://www.canadiantire.ca/en/pdp/metric-stainless-license-plate-locking-fasteners-0372387p.html?rrec=true

    Enclosed trailer hacks

Built all my storage shelves with e track. Being able to bring everything to the track is nice, when the bikes are outside I just use a foldable cot to sleep on overnight. Forgot one thing that made a difference moving the trailer around without breaking my back...

    Enclosed trailer hacks

As priller mentioned pitbull is the way to go Trailer Restraints. You can buy one of those cheap magnet mosquito nets at can tire for the side door, keeps the little buggers out especially if you are sleeping at night with the door open.

    Duke 890 or MT09

Bizarre to me buying a hooligan bike for the street and wanting all these electronic goodies. Cruise control I understand would be nice, but a $10 throttle rocker does the job, maybe I'm old fashioned or just old lol.

    Trailers, Campers and RVs…

Biggest problem with a 5x8 vs a 6x12 is the wind. Sure the RAV4 will be able to tow it, but it will be revving the **** out of the engine keeping it at highway speeds.

    Who's still riding? Fall & Winter 2022 (& 2023!) edition!

Dude's cruiser didn't want to start after being parked on the street in -20 weather for a few hours, who knew lol. Even in low positive temps, my bike doesn't like a cold start after being left out in the extremes.
