I thought you sold your Guzzi months ago.... but then I got in a car accident and got a concussion so everything in between is fuzzy. Did you have two or get a second one or ?
I finally did it! I sold my Harley Sportster 1200 and bought the motorcycle the internet has been urging me to get for two years now: the Triumph Bonneville T120!
For the Harley-haters, sorry to disappoint but there’s no drama or trash talk in this breakup. I loved and miss my Harley, but...
Co-Operators. That's under a new policy #. When I had it as part of the same policy as my other vehicles, I think it was about $150/yr.
I've never had Riders Plus beat any rate I've gotten from either TD Meloche Monnex and Co-Operators on any class of bike.
Right... but why are you stopping there like everything else is equal? Keep going with it. Walk with me here lol
Bigger tires generally = bigger PSI
Smaller tires generally = smaller PSI
Tire psi specs on my F150 are over 50% more than on my Vespa's front tire spec.
So if both vehicles have...
Is it reaaaaaally 'great' though? ... (hands out tin foil hats)
(whispers) ... Or does GP just have a higher MSRP than elsewhere, so that they can make it look like a better deal when it goes on sale?
Seriously though, the same jug on Amazon is $58.99 all day long, sometimes it goes on sale...
So what was it that I wrote that you disagreed with exactly?
Seems like GreyGhost said pretty much what I did, only he quantified what I qualified?
Looks to me like you disagreed with what I said, while agreeing with GG saying the same thing as me lol
Really? Weird. My F150 which lives outside all winter long, doesn't see even a fraction of the fluctuation any of my scooter tires have. And the scooters live in garages.
I say this as someone who has been riding all winter round, since 2007, and most winters I ride exclusively on small wheeled...
One more thought... Stupid question but, with the change in weather, whens the last time you checked your tire pressure?
Being so tiny, vespa tires are way more sensitive to temperatures cooling when it comes to losing pressure.
Maybe also make sure your wheel weights are still on while you're...
Do a search on Modern Vespa forum. The level of small dick energy the owner exudes is off the charts. The mods there are the most miserable people you could ever imagine on a Vespa. But there are some knowledgeable folks there and the GTS speed wobble has been well documented.
I ride with OEM...
Is yours a 300 by any chance? I have the GTS 250, still no wobble or issues other than the voltage regulator I replaced when I bought it.
Did you always have the wind screen on? I'd stay by taking that off and making sure you have the right bar end weights on. I think I remember some wind...
I'll check to see if I can do that in the back. In the front it's not really an option because the linkage for the pedals is there.
Thanks, taking a look now!
Same, but the engineer I live with says reinforce it anyway lol. She loves to overbuild everything.
Now the problem is, I'm worried that the middle of the unit where all the weight is, isn't supported, and it'll start to sag and something will get damaged or snap.
I'm worried that bar across the bottom isn't strong enough to take all the weight pushing down in between the casters.
