Stupidly overpriced motorcycle for sale thread

http://www.kijiji.ca/v-sport-bikes/mississauga-peel-region/2013-honda-cbr-250/1281435385?enableSearchNavigationFlag=true So the owner neglected the bike for 4 years and wants to sell it the same price as a brand new 2017 model.

    Scotch anyone?

Currently enjoying the Bruichladdich Octomore 7.3, it's a peat monster. However it's balanced with fruity and floral notes. although its not a scotch, I've recently discovered the Wayne Gretzky no 99, easy to drink and not too harsh in the finish. The $35 price tag won't make me feel bad if I...

I just realized I need a 24mm socket for the rear wheel. biggest one I have in my socket set is only 21mm Should I exchange the current box for a bigger set (There's one on sale for $160, mine was $99), so I can reduce the chance of similar situation in the future. Or should I buy a set of...

Recommendations to get slight used or new tires?

I found this vid for my bike, don't know if Kawasaki has similar resources for maintenance work https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FdnJsX2gUpg looks pretty straight forward, I guess I just need to make sure the bike is firm on the stand (rear first, then front stand) and get the correct torque...

Recommendations to get slight used or new tires?

I'll go on full hijack mode then :) How easy is it to take out both wheels (provided that I have both stands and the tools)? Going this route because I want to learn (the other 90% being that I'm a cheapskate). Any tips to avoid any errors? P.S. going to order from Pete's, how "fresh" are...

Recommendations to get slight used or new tires?

Sorry to thread hijack, Im in the same situation as OP, got a used bike, tread is fine however the tires are already 6 years old. would there be an issue if I get new tires that are radial, when my owner's manual says my tires are bias-ply?

PSA: Kerosene is better and way cheaper than name brand chain cleaners

I have just done my first cleaning/lubing. Overall a success... however I left a huge mess, a puddle of kerosene on the floor (I need a bigger drip pan next time), a dirty chain brush + 2 rags that stinks of gasoline. How do you guys set up for a chain cleaning session to prevent a messy...

PSA: Kerosene is better and way cheaper than name brand chain cleaners

This is a rookie mistake: I accidently sprayed wd40 on the tire and then some more on the ground. Is there a proper way to clean them to avoid potential accidents?

This is my haul, feels so manly now hahaha. Thanks everyone for your suggestions, without them I maybe ended up with improper tools. It is also helpful that you guys posted deals from Canadian Tire/Princess Auto too. Going to do an oil change and some chain lubing now.

Sorry to go off topic a bit but I also need a bike stand, I only need rear stand for now but wouldn't mind buying both front and rear, primarily need it for detailing/lubing chains. Where can I find a good one? P.s. my CBR250 doesn't have spools yet
