Who's still riding? (Fall & Winter 2020 Edition)

Yaaaayyy, the job that was previously rescheduled from this past Monday to this coming Friday because they weren't ready, has now been rescheduled again to next Tuesday because they're not going to be ready.

Boo hoo ... brrraaaaapp!!

Haven't been to the Forks yet this season mayhaps I shall friday/the weekend.

nah it'll be warm and sunny, you wont have room to ride because tourists, and it'll be a temporary covid hotspot

I wouldn't go there to ride anyways.

Went back in April or so during the peak of the Covid shutdown. Got chased out by the OPP for even parking on the shoulder by the bakery to eat the lunch I packed.

I don't make a habit of going out there (most overrated road ever honestly) but it was part of a bigger ride that day.

Regarding Friday, unfortunately the amazing 22 degrees and sunny day that was forecast for the last few days has now degraded significantly to mostly cloudy, and now a 60% chance of showers not far north.

Was planning to take a mental healthy day from work to get out there, but sadly it's looking like it might be a waste now.

Milton and Niagara are still looking good, with 40% chance of rain not until 5 (According to TWN).

I've lent my car to my kid, so I've given myself no other choice but to commute into work.
I'll probably take the car back next week in case the roads get icy.
Gearing up for cold riding is a pain, but it's something I always look forward to, even if it's raining

Rode literally from sunrise to sunset today. Not huge miles (Somewhere between 500-600km I think after a long lunch break and a few coffee/stretch/scenery stops) but an epic day. Found some new roads as well that I will definitely revisit next year.

If the season ends on that note (aside from the little rides here and there through the winter) I'll call it good.

Oddly enough the guy with the AF is a member here and he and I first met up north Parry Sound at a fantastic fish and chips shop on my way back from Pickle Lake ...small world.

Africa Twin
Brian P and I were there not long after this picture was taken. That silver suzuki is more interesting to me than the Africa Twin.

Looks like an rg500, or rg250.

Only got a quick look as it was going west on Hockley Rd.

It was on the short list for my new ride, got to test it on a dyno (DCT). Seems pretty great imo.

If I wasn’t a Honda guy, I would be on a 2020 S1000XR. Great bike.
