Also ignoring the call to un black out the WE documents.
If PP doesn’t want to run for PM, I think he should run for Steve Colberts job. He’s hilarious.

My initial thought was thumbs up, then laughing face at JT/JS battling each other to see who could spend more, then anger that my grandkids are going to be stuck with the mess in the wake of a wanker trust-fund kid that the morons in our country elected.

Twice...

The latest from JT...

The Bloc and PC want a parliamentary committee to review fiduciary duty on spending and ethics issues related to Covid response.

JT says no - if they push, he’s gonna make it a confidence vote, basically telling them to back off or force an election.

another chickenshit move to avoid an ethics inquiry. This one is so bad even his buddy Jag is whining.

somewhat late, it is a confidence vote tomorrow.

Current speculation is NDP will recuse themselves and the Greens/Independents will carry the vote.

Could you imagine if JWRB brings down his government? Glorious.

Except we still have enough brain-washed idiot citizens that we will end up spending a fortune on an election to get JT again. JT knows that a complete inquiry will be horrendous for him so he will do anything to have an election before that can happen.

We need something in policy where if there is an unresolved ethics inquiry, you are ineligible to run for election.

Except that will be the end of o toole when the libs win a majority and we have 4 years of jt doing whatever he wants.

Funny I thought he's been doing that for the last 5 years already?

I'm sure Trudeau is taking a gamble. If an ethics inquiry gets kicked off, he'll likely get drawn and quartered, making a PC majority very possible - he be doomed - forever.

If he triggers an election before an ethics investigation, his chances are much better. His strategy is to bury the ethics investigation by forcing a confidence vote before anything comes out. Blame a forced pandemic on the PC's let things go into the shitter during the campaign period. Blame that on the PCs too. His election message will be simple, "let us get back to helping Canadians thru the pandemic".

Someday it will all come out. If there is a maneuver that makes the investigation a go, Trudeau can still call an election before it gets started.

It's a circus.

Canadian Politics the joke the keep on giving, and nothing get's done. ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️ ?‍♂️

All that's happening right now is they are giving away my money. I guess one could argue that if they didn't, my life could get worse -- but I'm not sure that billions and billions and billions of handouts hasn't already had they effect on my long term.

I just hope there is a repayment scheme (with teeth )in place for those who leveraged the system when they should not have.

regrettably chasing down anybody that was levering the system when they shouldnt have will be a combination of way too much cost to prosecute big fish ie; let em go, and the 'cant get juice from a rock' ie; people that had nothing before.

Looks like the Ethics probe vote is upon us. Jag's statements today indicate he's caved into JT. Both JT and JS have a lot to lose in an election so as long as Jag gets continues to get full handmaid service from JT, they will share control and power.

Canadians lose.

Greens are also giving JT a handy under the table. Parliament has conspired to burn as much money as possible on special interest proposals while actively destroying any chance at oversight. Nightmares.

Spoke with my father-in-law last week, he thought Justin was doing a great job.
Hadn't heard of any of the scandals. Thought that was all fake news.
