"Likewise, he made grand promises to solve problems that have plagued humanity from its inception, including poverty, homelessness and racism, and once again promised Indigenous reconciliation without defining what that entails. Are we finally going to commit to ending on-reserve poverty?"

The clown can't even get them the potable water he promised them. Other than to show up on a reserve in Manitoba a few years ago for a photo op and to take some smiling selfies for the PM's official blog (for which the cost to run doubled when he ascended to his throne) , he's done absolutely nothing.

It was rich that he mentioned the crap treatment of indigenous people while he has done nothing useful on that front for years.
This kinda irks me. Your the PRIME minister, and have been for 5 YEARS, you have the power to do something about it but your just going to sit there and virtue signal and complain that noone has done anything about it? Similar thing in the US where cities with democrat mayors, democrat police chiefs, democrat AGs and democrat governors are complaining that there is systemic problems in their city... YOU have the power to change it so CHANGE it already. Politicians always talk about change but none of them ever change anything, even when its within their power to do so, its always status quo...

An old GF of mine lives in Winnipeg. She's part Mohawk. IIRC the percentage of reserves in Manitoba with potable water is around 22. She's totally enamored with Trudeau (the hair?). I just don't get it.

The more I hear from Lewis the more I like her. She has that common sense conservatism, boils down political issues into simple speak, and seems to look at the long game.

I figure she will play a prominent role if PCs get the job.

I guess he doesn't like twitter. :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:

He speaks well, on point, and is logical, from what I watched. But unfortunatly it seems most people don't buy into this kinda response (its too real) and would rather be coddled and made to feel good, and forget reality, then have actions to back it up. Just my opinion.

The "most people" you describe here fits my wife perfectly! She doesn't watch, listen to or read the news because it's just too depressing. Would rather be told uplifting, positive fairy tales. Consequently, she thinks the sun shines out of JT's arse. I'd get into it with her but have been married long enough to know that's a debate I could never win!

She must have a secret twin, seperated at birth, because I'm married to the same girl !! youtube videos about cats playing the piano.....

Yes she is good. I still feel the cons missing a real oppourtunity here, she should be the party leader. Represents all the changes the party needs and puts a shining force on challenges facing the entire country. Also excatly what TJ tries to empower without much success. Hopefully she can still be effective within the party.

Too much of a rookie (never held a seat, jagmeet is this you?), French is pretty terrible. Needs more time to marinate.

Then she is even better, a direct semi comparison to the opposition leader. Something the voting public seems to be on board with, except the wrong party... :ROFLMAO: :ROFLMAO:;)

When you say opposition leader, who do you mean?

TJ who else, or did I say it incorrectly?
My thought is that JT is PM, EO is opposition leader, JS is the Liberal fanboi, YB is the give us more guy, and JR is the interim leader of the GP.
So I'm confused as to who this TJ is.
