Was out for a run in my cage on hockley road minding my own business driving my merc maybe 20 over when this superstar on a gs 1250 was riding my ass when the road ahead was wide open. He then passes very very close to my car..****** me off...so I decided to show him up..not all cages or drivers are the same lol...funny as hell..buddy was struggling to stay ahead almost lost it in couple corners all the while my bumper feet off his rear. (roadkill). Him looking in the mirror and to his surprise and I was right there was golden. I know most dingleberrys think they are fast on a bike but be very careful and sure of your capabilities. I know for a fact I scared the bujesus out of that dumbell and he will second guess himself next time. Services rendered...your welcome

You're a dick - what would you have done if he bailed ?
Two wrongs don't make a right.

Sounds like a typical merc driver.
Not so much like a motorcyclist.
So his tailgating put your merc in danger And his flipping you the bird hurt your precious feelings so you ride his ass pushing him beyond his riding abilities.
just want to be sure I got the just of the story before I call you an A HOLE.

Pointless road rage incident is...…...…………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………...pointless.

Tailgaters piss me off as well and I too can get in the same frame of mind as the OP but I'm getting better as I age. I would've just waved him ahead - have done it before with bikes.

It's a personal space thing and tailgaters enter that zone where it becomes a threatening behavior towards you and depending on your testosterone level &/or mood at the moment will dictate how you react. It can be a difficult decision to make in the heat of the moment to restrain.

Not saying what the motorcyclist was doing is a good idea. But letting someone pass just so that you can tailgate them and try to push them beyond their limits just to prove a point and take satisfaction they almost crashed. Says a lot about you. And to come on here to brag about? "MY bumper feet off his tail". Great road rage story... you should post a video of yourself on the dumb drivers of the GTA section since you are looking for attention.

What I get a laugh out of is the people doing under the limit on concession roads who lose it when you pass them and either speed up when you pull out to go by or match your speed once you've passed them. I'm not talking guys in Mercs with BMWitis. People in Volvos and clapped out work vans.

Buddy had at least km empty ahead of me and no one behind us which is what ****** me off and he was maybe 3 to 4 feet off my tail while I am leisurely cruising along for about a km or so trying to make his statement so I made mine. Thats what got me riled up. In my younger days he would have been in a ditch regardless of crashing or not.

250 r Its not that he passed but what he did BEFORE he passed..and If I wanted could of made it so he didnt pass ..drop the hammer..lol

yawn. you drove a car fast so what?

someone needs attention

Don't want to come off preaching to you. I'm no better than anyone else. I'm sure I've done stupid things and it may happen again in the future. Whether in my car or bike. But look at it from this point of view. It's now a day later you've had time to calm down and evaluate the situation. Lets say you were right when he was tailgating you. After he passed you , in an unsafe manner as you noted. It was over with. He didn't hit you or anything. But if you continue to prove a point and let's say something did happen. E.g he wiped out or you hit him and he seriously injured himslf or worse was killed. Would it have been worth it? He's on a bike you have a better understanding on what the result would be if he wiped out as opposed to some one in a similar situation who doesn't ride.

I hate drivers like that.
They're slow as **** when you're behind them, but once you pass they get all offended, and want to ride your bumper.

If a car/truck/bus/bike comes up fast from behind I pull towards the side, slow down and try to let them pass, then continue on my merry way. Doesn't matter if I'm in my car or on my bike. If they're the slow one, then I hope that they'll do likewise, and many times they do.
