I find Home Depot also takes a dump on a regular basis as well. Most of the canadian brick and mortar stores have websites as an afterthought. They probably all go into meetings and show their bosses how much better their site is than Home Hardware. Their website is beyond useless even when it's running. Most items are "call the store for price and availability". Some items say they are in stock so you go to the store to pick up and then you find out they are special order with a $100 delivery charge. smh. useless.

I dunno I have to disagree with you. It might not be greatest but it isn't bad. They have from what I have seen a good inventory listing feature. This has helped me many times, instead of just heading to the store I can verify which store has it and go there.

I don't doubt this integration is part of the reason the site is not working. They might be giving their own employees priority access to the ordering, inventory system over client facing. Probably why they are directing people to phone orders.
It's no excuse though.

My mind looks at the alternatives for the USA come November

1) He gets dumped by the party and goes on a vengeance streak

2) He gets chosen to run again. The ship's going to sink anyway so guzzle the single malt until it goes completely under.

3) He loses and sells a couple of billion dollars worth of pardons as a lame duck.

4) Some poor Democrat POTUS has four years to fix the mess and will fail.

5) He tries (and succeeds) to use a state of emergency and some of the changes they have been making in the background the last three years to defer/cancel the election to remain in office.

Difficult to do as election dates are all but cast in stone..... but never say never.

There’s a term for this, it’s called “rally round the flag”. It’s what happened with Margaret Thatcher when the UK went to war over the Falkland Islands. She was unpopular before the war but a collective feeling of nationalism/patriotism/coming together gave her a boost. Trump is already getting the same boost. I’m hoping though that come election time people will remember that Trump actually caused more harm than good. At least with Thatcher one of her most unpopular decisions was torpedoing an Argentinian warship that was heading away from the fight. It was thought to be a little “unbritish”. Aside from that she was a decent head of state at a critical time.

I wish I could have that serum/antibody testing. I drive a transit bus and every day this week some idiot has crossed the yellow line to ask a stupid question. Gah! I just had to yell at another homeless guy just now to stay behind the yellow line.

If I could know whether or not I have already had it it would alleviate a lot of my fears.
