Motorcycle Supershow Reviews 2024 Edition

"Encouraging to see more manufacturers participating. "

Which ones were there? If I remember correctly, the 2 usual big ones are Kawasaki and Harley-Davidson

Others have a proxy presence through dealers.

BMW was also there.

Went Friday afternoon. Ordered some Rev'it gear from GP. 15% off, so not an amazing deal but saving 15% on $1300 is nothing to sneeze at. The used bike marketplace was pathetic this year. Maybe 30 bikes total (not counting the ones at GP)?

I continue to be bewildered by why people #cough# Harley riders #cough# feel the need to dress up in all of their branded clothing whenever they attend anything remotely motorcycle related. Oh well, the people watching is almost worth the admission price.

I know, judging by the amount of people wearing riding gear the parking lot should have been full of bikes.

I'm very disappointed with Kawasaki. If you are going to be one of the "major" sponsors of this event, can you bring a few 2020 models?
I think by August we had all seen your 2019 models either at bike shops or LnL. I understand that I am not going to see the new 2020 lineup of Honda here, but they are not a major sponsor.

Calgary's MMIC show is next weekend ... not enough time to ship by land between here and there (as opposed to airfreight, which might not be in the budget), and they may not have enough 2020 models around yet to do what you suggest by having two complete sets of display bikes.

Last time I bought a new bike, I didn't get it until April after having ordered it the December before. Wasn't built until February.

I really wonder about Honda. No one outside of Honda has seen the new Fireblade in action yet, and at this point it looks like no one will see it in action until the late February WorldSBK test at Phillip Island.

613 guys were awesome

My friends and I bought 5 A* GP pro leather jackets on the last day for $249 each!

For those that are wondering about the April 4-5 Motorcycle show at the International Centre.

I was at GP Bikes two days ago and I was told that GP Bikes will only be taking their clearance items.
They will have a small both, "not even setting up the rafters"

So, what's the forecast for bike shows?

Anything on the horizon?

Capacity limits? Vaxports? Distancing?

Considering that people are suffering from bike show withdrawal, will they jack admission and pizza slice prices?
