TV shows currently watching

The last season of Mr Robot (S4) is not messing around and continues to build on its impressive story and acting. Watchmen (HBO) has been great too. I'm not very familiar with the comic but it's not messing around either with solemn questions and themes around humanity. Both shows are getting some superlative feedback. Why We Hate has been excellent and very informative.

Dublin Murders is another new series recently starting I plan on checking out. The last season of Vikings is coming soon.

The last season of Ballers had lots of cameos but wasn't very inspiring or interesting. The Terror S2 was average, it just didn't connect much with me.

Just started watching kominsky method on Netflix, it's like a Curb your Enthusiasm without Larry David. Enjoying it so far, 6 episodes in.
 
Watched S4 of The Man in the High Castle. Solid but felt they wrapped up the series quite quickly.

Stuck with His Dark Materials even though most of it slow and tedious. People say it's pretty faithful to the books, but I haven't read them, so maybe that might have something to do with it.

Episode four *just* got slightly interesting - can't go wrong with an armored bear!

But if the next episode drops off again, I think I'll cross this one off the list.
 
Succession (HBO) is excellent. The first episode is a bit hard to follow, but soldier through and the payoff is totally worth it. Fantastic ensemble cast and gloriously despicable characters.

season 2 finale was great :D
 
Re-watching The Wire. It's amazing how they setup future seasons in season 1 episode 1. This show is awesome.

That's a great show, growing up in Toronto and actually having been in that store it's familiar and almost comforting to watch. Makes me miss being in the city.

Have you seen the episode where the daughter gets a motorcycle? Couldn't help but laugh and feel sorry for her at the same time.

Not yet. Last episode the daughter was showing her dad her awesome dance moves.
 
Just binged the Mayans M.C. (Spin off of Sons of Anarchy) season 2.
Not bad overall, some pretty competent acting.

Yes!! I have liked all of M Night's movies and this hooked me as well. Unless my Apple+ is messed up I kind of like that I have to wait another week for the next episode. (or do I?)

I am also a couple of episodes into See. Not bad so far.
 
Not TV, but I'm currently watching Tensei shitara Slime Datta Ken on the web. Recommendation was from my kids.

Yeah, they released the first 3 as a hook, then it comes out weekly.

The streaming services are getting wise to the fact that people pay for one month's subscription, binge all the good series, and then cancel until the next batch of good series comes out where they will pony up for another month of "Batch Binging".

But the first episode of Servant though! When the dad picks up the baby by the feet and... you know...

I was like WHAT IN THE FAAAAAAH....!??!?!
